A new year...

Happy New Year! It's 2009!

This is OUR year, finally...i can't wait to finally marry Stuart in less than 8 months! however, we still have sooooo much to do! i am in the process of finding a florist, who i am pretty sure i have picked out, im looking at limos this weekend, and i still need a DJ...but it will all come together- i think within the next month or so. I am also working on some DIYs- my invites, my placecards and some other small things.

So, I am planning on turning my wedding planning blog into a wedding planning-slash-diet blog...i started my wedding day diet today. me and stuart both need to lost approx 30 lbs. by august (well me by June- for my fittings, stuart by august) I am certain that I will be able to do it. I went to the gym today, and have been eating pretty healthy. It is going to be hard to keep on it, but once i make my dress fitting it will have more meaning.

its my birthday!!!!!!

it is 1:15 am, and its my 22nd birthday! and almost one year until the wedding! this is all very exciting.

did more shopping for eparty today (well i guess yesterday) and i got wine, horesorderves, and mikes for stuart. i also got some of the soda and the water. i guess i should be done with everything by tomorrow

so for my birthday im going to go get my hair done, and my nails, then go shopping!!! and maybe try on my wedding dress again---

im tired.

freaking jillian michaels

i can't walk today!! i started the jillian michaels 30 day shread and it really kicked my butt yesterday. im going to keep up with it, ill do it after work today. im trying to eat better, but im not going to freak out about it. Stuart took my "before" pics and i have BACK FAT. omg, its bad...hopefully in 30 days, my after pics will be much better!

Some Wedding Related Business

-Eparty: is set for 8/23. im excited, but not nearly as excited as i was the first time. it will be nice, a beachy theme for about 50 people.

-we registered at macy's. stuart had a lot of fun, i disliked it greatly. we wanted to register for a few things, in case people wanted to buy us stuff for the eparty.

-my dress: i ordered it!!!!! my mom was originally going to make it, but when i tried it on, i just needed the dress! it is perfect!

- we booked our photog. i am happy with my choice and the price he gave us.

i wish that i could figure out how to link things like LIW does. hmmmm....

It's July 1st already???

wow the time really does fly as you get older...so i wanted to talk a little bit about my little brother today...hes 18 and just graduated high school and is the most irresponsible person i have ever come into contact with. my mom just went to TN for the month and left us with minimal food in the semi-messy house. so, being the "mother" that i am (joey often calls me "sista motha danielle") i cleaned up the house, with the help of Brittany. it felt like i was cleaning mostly joey's stuff up. so i wrote him a note to clean up his "shit"and needless to say his jeans and shoes and plates and cups were all over the place when i got home from both of my jobs...so i cleaned them up--whatever, we needed food in our house--i wrote a note asking for $20 from him to give to me for food and a list.. bea gave me $30 and a list and when i got home there was nothing from joey...so i called him and was like oh wheres the money--his response??? "oh dont get me anything, i dont need to eat" so now i assume that means he has no money--he just got $375 on saturday, and if he has no money im not too sure what to say. this kid seriously needs to work on money managment, responsibilty to the house and his sisters (bc we are not his maids) and being an adult--this smoking pot and hanging out with friends isnt working anymore.

Its the little things that annoy me

ok so i just went to buy some turkey and chhese bc im starving and the stop and shop cashier, donna, was so rude! i said "hi how are you" and she didnt even acknowledge me. now im sure your stupid job at stop and shop scanning my $3.00 turkey (which wasn't boarshead and that annoyed me)and cheese is really difficult, but i work in retail at kohl's and you better be sure i greet every customer before they have the chance to great me....

...which brings me to another annoying moment. last night at work, these 3 teenage girls came into the store wearing kohl's shirts. We dont need to wear shirts so i asked where they were from..they said oh the levittown store, we just wanted to see if your store really was shitty..so then the girl critiques me on every single thing i did (annoying bc i was doing her a favor) and was so nasty. i told my 07 (shes like my manager) and she was like did you get her name, we could have reported her...i wish i did get the name of the stupid kohl's police.

a lot of things annoy me lately...sheesh

but i am happy that i just resisted a carb temptation for a bagel!
